The people in front of me bought $1,200 in top shelf alcohol, cases of redbull, and steaks.

They split it up and paid for the steaks and redbull with EBT, and then pulled out a giant wad of $100 bills to pay for the alcohol in cash.

WTF am I doing with my life??? I haven't bought steak in years - I haven't bought alcohol in decades. Too expensive. On the rare occasion we eat out, I buy the cheapest thing on the menu.

Yet these people can just casually drop thousands of dollars of my tax money on things I can't even afford?? Just to drive home to a taxpayer funded house nicer than I live in.

@elonmusk @Starlink I run a Part 135 charter operator with five Challenger 350s. We fly North America only, so the new $12,500 Regional plan should be perfect for us. Problem is it only covers land + 12nm offshore, and a lot of normal domestic flying happens outside that line. Miami to New York goes offshore over the Atlantic. Miami to LA crosses the Gulf way beyond 12nm. And Hawaii is a domestic destination but would need the $20k Global plan.

So an operator that never leaves North America still can’t use the regional plan without dropping wifi mid-flight on domestic routes.

Any chance regional coverage could be extended to the offshore routes adjacent to the continent, the Atlantic routes, the Gulf, and the mainland–Hawaii corridor? That’s the airspace we actually fly. Would make the regional tier actually work for domestic operators.

You don’t have to spend $600-700 a month on a car payment, but you do. You don’t need to drink the $7 coffee every morning, but you do. You don’t need the latest and greatest iPhone every year, but you get one anyways. You don’t need $100k in student loans to get a good job, but you take them anyways. Your life is molded from your decisions, not anyone else’s. Stop blaming everyone for your problems and do something about it.

I never thought this would happen to me. Caught on Tesla dashcam today (July 6) around 5:18pm in the Lower East Side.

She walked straight up to my parked white Tesla at 171 E Broadway, tore the plate straight off, then casually walked away… and later strolled right back past the spot like nothing happened.
