World Children’s Day is UNICEF’s annual day of action for children, by children, marking the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

🧵 My report out today shows that nearly 6,500 16–17-year-olds were homeless/at risk of homelessness in England last year.
Nearly half of those were due to a family breakdown and over 1,000 were unaccompanied asylum-seeking children.
