Exciting News! - Yesterday our newest paper was published in @NatureComms by @CVSoerensen, @AndreasLaustsen and many more. The study unveils highly surprising research findings on snakebite envenoming therapies that call for caution. Full study: https://t.co/40RU4J2Qg2
Typically, #whole cell selections result in discovery of antibodies against highly expressed cell surface receptors. Here, we present detailed protocols on phage display selections, utilizing #depletion or #blocking, for discovery of #rare#antibodies against multiple targets.
The sun is shining in Denmark and besides our passion for science we also love and enjoy moments together by having a barbecue or flowing down the river on a canue! Have a look at some of our moments together ๐
Podcast: A few months ago, I had the pleasure of doing this @REBBLS Podcast with @JornEmborg, where I got to tell about my career as both an #academic and #biotech#entrepreneur, as well as how to bridge these two worlds: https://t.co/bNbBKYtByc
Last week @jack_wade6 successfully defended his PhD thesis about "Engineering and structural characterization of cross reactive, pH sensitive antibodies against long chain alpha-neurotoxins". Thank you for the last three years and we wish you can continue your successful path!๐ฅณ
We are excited to share our #preprint โPhage display assisted discovery of a pH-dependent anti-alpha-cobratoxin antibody from a natural variable domain libraryโ!

Our study shows that histidine doping may not always be necessary to achieve pH-dependency in antibodies. Plus, given the high diversity available in a naรฏve antibody library, it can likely be applied to discover pH-dependent antibodies against a wide range of antigens!
