Down the stretch, the refs ignored a blatant face mask penalty, ignored a clear running into the kicker penalty, and then gifted the Wolverines a final second that won them the game.
Garbage.
Translation: we in the MAC need these paycheck games to pay the bills and know if we complain the Big 10 will replace us with schools from the Sun Belt Conference, so we'll accept being screwed and cash the check.
lol. Big ten refs are the worst. Ref is literally staring right at the face mask. 😂😂. I could care less either way but just as a college football fan this is getting stupid. I get ya miss some calls and nobody’s perfect but they were ripping his helmet off right in front of the referee! 🤦🏼♂️😂😂 Felt bad for western Michigan though. Game shoulda been over but then again how would the refs know no time was left when they can’t even see a face mask 5 ft in front of em staring right at it.
Michigan just had a game openly rigged for them.
Don’t let anyone tell you differently.
This program is an embarrassment and should be treated as such.
Dear NCAA: This is your moment.
You've been rendered almost completely powerless over the last few years as the courts have effectively stripped you of all authority. Reversing this outcome will put you back in a place of goodwill with the fans and will serve as a clear and identifiable example of how the NCAA can still exert power.
And I've got some good news for you: the game error wasn't in the judgment of an official, but instead, an administrative error with the clock. Due to the fact that you can objectively determine that the game was over, and that an adminstrative mistake extended it, there should be no reason NOT to give the win back to Western Michigan.
Again, this is your moment NCAA. You don't get many of these. Don't screw it up.

Sports are always about arguing… they are always about debate.
I have not seen one person defend or explain why they added a second.
The entire country is just stunned and believes Western Michigan was robbed.
To the Uknown Juror,
I do not know your name and we have never met. I am writing anyway because what you did in that jury room matters.
You sat through weeks of evidence about Cora, Dawson, and Callan—three children who were strangled in their own home.
You then spent days in deliberations with eleven other people who wanted to walk away without holding their killer criminally responsible. You did not join them. You held the line. That took more courage than most people will ever have to show.
The pressure you faced was obvious from the outside. Nine of the twelve jurors were women. The defense and much of the commentary around the case treated postpartum as an automatic get-out-of-accountability card.
When the split became public, the lawyer for the woman who killed those children went after you personally and tried to have you removed. You still would not vote to acquit. That is not stubbornness. That is a man who looked at three dead children and refused to pretend the law required him to look away.
You were one vote standing between a unanimous finding of “not criminally responsible” and a hung jury. You chose the hung jury. You chose not to cave. In a room that had already decided the outcome, you chose the children over the narrative. That is rare. It is also why I am proud of you.
You are a hero to people who still believe that strangling a five-year-old, a three-year-old, and an eight-month-old baby is a crime that requires an answer, not an excuse. Thank you for standing there when it would have been easier to fold.
Thank you for being a man that defends children.
@bigten Clearly the big ten rigged this footage. The footage from NBC shows the ball clearly in the air at zero. Multiple replays show it. Well past triple zeros actually. It wasnt touched. Do the right thing and overturn the result of the game. This isnt right and everyone knows it.
