if everytime you interact with someone in the service industry (restaraunts, stores, hotels etc) you FIRST make eye contact and say hi or how are you? and then order your coffee or whatever. acknowledge we are all people. if you do this evertyhing is a little better.

@aka_pugs Thanks for this. My first exposure to Unix was with Sun systems in the late 80s and early 90s. Magical. Learned shell scripting on a Sparc 5 when I was a nighttime computer operator that launched the rest of my career in tech. Will always have a special place in my heart.
