On May 29, Buffalo Station agents in Cheektowaga, NY, identified a “hot shot” truck driver as an illegal alien from Russia who overstayed his visa. The individual was arrested and processed for removal from the United States.

Last Sunday (May 31) CBP officers arrested a Virginia man and a woman who both unlawfully possessed two handguns at the Rainbow Bridge border crossing in Niagara Falls.

Over the weekend, Buffalo @CBP officers intercepted a Jamaican citizen wanted for Aggravated Sexual Abuse in the Rochester, NY area. Thanks to swift action & coordination, the individual was apprehended & handed over to local law enforcement. Great teamwork = safe communities! 🤝

BPA McDonough started his CBP career in 2007. He recently served at the Wellesley Island Border Patrol Station, Buffalo Sector in New York. He also served in Nogales Station and in Houlton Sector. BPA McDonough also served in the U.S. Army, Army National Guard, and as a Military Police Officer.

He is a true hero who selflessly served to protect America.

As a CBP family, we extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of BPA McDonough.
