We at CCAWR stand in solidarity today & everyday with Indigenous peoples, the first inhabitants of this land. We recognize the pain and violence inflicted on residential school survivors and grief in mourning those who did not survive. We support accountability & reconciliation.
Indigenous artwork by Tsista Kennedy is being shared with the community through a @GRT_ROW bus wrap & mural. Tsista is an Anishinaabe Onyota’a:ka artist who uses symbolism to connect the story of the bison with that of Indigenous People: https://t.co/LkD8YZtr69
