Donald Trump has declared war on us. On our workers, our jobs, our factories and our people. In the face of such a devastating threat – with hundreds of thousands of jobs hanging by a thread – we need a premier who puts our people first. And his own politics last. 

But that is not what we have in Doug Ford. He called this election knowing this day might come. Gambling with people's livelihoods in the hopes it would win him more votes. 

We should not be in this election. But this is Ontario’s opportunity to choose change that will put the real people of this province first.

Because of Ford’s wrong priorities, people across our province are already struggling. They are worried about how they will pay rent and afford groceries. They are afraid of what will happen if they get sick. And now they are worried about losing their jobs too.

We need to fight back. We need to grow stronger by getting the basics right here at home.
