2. These practices are associated with:
* ~2 more A&E attendances per 100 patients;
* 5.2% fewer people seeing their preferred GP;
* 10.6% fewer people reporting obtaining an appointment on the same day;
* 1.3% more people having lower overall satisfaction with their practice
1. Some practices experience high GP turnover for long period of time (3 consecutive years or more), such as 'persistent high turnover'. These practices tend to be larger, located in more deprived areas and with a higher health burden from serious conditions.

A new @OfficialUoM study, funded by our Efficiency Research Programme, has found that GP turnover in England increased during 2007-2019. It reports that GP practices in the most deprived areas have up to 10% higher turnover than the least deprived areas.
