@StephCohenMD This is SO well deserved. I had the absolute privilege of working closely w/ Bryan throughout his GI fellowship @BIDMChealth@BIDMC_GI. These attributes-compassion, empathy, kindness, were quite evident from his very first day of fellowship. Congrats Bryan👏👏👏

Incredibly grateful to @BIDMCSurgery@Ortho_BIDMC@BIDMChealth for the exceptional care I received after yet another ⛷️ injury. Surgical repair 4/12. NonWtBearing-scoping in a 🦽. Greeted w/ this upon my rtn to work today from my AMAZING staff @ our Boston Endo Ctr #WomenWhoScope
As a physician, would just ask that you give grace. The first patient may have had a new devastating diagnosis (leukemia, brain tumor) or was suicidal. The physician may have miscarried on the way to work, gotten a call that their own parent was in the ED, or needed to find last minute care for their own sick child, and they pushed through to be there for their patients.
We show up every day for our patients. We put their needs before our own. But we are humans. And physicians are leaving practice in droves given the pressures. And some are devastatingly taking their own lives.
I am sure the pediatrician would have loved to have been on time. So again, please just give grace.

One of the biggest compliments for a GI endoscopist: having your coworkers (physicians, nurses, CRNAs, endoscopy techs) asking you to perform their gastrointestinal procedure. Multiple coworkers asked this week if I would be willing to do their procedure. I am so honored.
@ZiadGelladMD@Duke_GI_@dukemedicine @DKothariGI Congratulations Darsh. This is so well deserved and not at all surprising. You were such an amazing and inspiring fellow @BIDMC_GI. We all knew you were destined for greatness. So proud of you and your accomplishments!
Miss these 3 recently graduated superb GI fellows. They joined me over the past 2 yrs for many of my endoscopy sessions at our Lex site. It was wonderful teaching endoscopy to them & seeing their amazing progress. @jglissenbrown@EricArdolino#kenbarshop@BIDMChealth@BIDMC_GI
