What is happening is not "Kato Bayan Kato" but a brazen daylight robbery of our fragile democracy. The will of the people has been hijacked by the whims and caprices of self-serving actors. I weep for our nation.
Our assessment of today's "direct primaries" of the APC for the House of Representatives is underway, in sha Allah.
Their credibility or otherwise could significantly determine the outcome of the general election.
Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere, while justice anywhere is a threat to injustice everywhere.
A stitch in time saves nine.

While Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, CON was in Abuja today evening, we heard about the emergence of a coronation which is called a "consensus" for all the elective positions in Gombe State.
Legally, there can be no valid consensus without involving the aspirants who have obtained or completed their expression of interest and nomination forms.
We advise all our supporters to remain calm and law-abiding. However, the total disregard for the provisions of the law cannot be ignored by us.
The Nigeria Electoral Act, 2026, outlines the modes of nomination in Section 84 (2):
Political parties are restricted to only two methods for selecting candidates in which coronation is not among them. The two methods are:
1) Consensus: A candidate may emerge if all cleared aspirants provide written consent to step down. If even one aspirant refuses, the party must revert to a direct primary.
2) Direct Primaries: Every registered party member has the right to vote directly for their preferred aspirant.
The action is completely contrary to the provisions of the law, the directive of the National Party, and the instruction of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
We urge our supporters to get ready for direct primaries after addressing major challenges in the APC database in the state. Our legal team is also working on addressing the challenges and observations.
May Allah bless Gombe State and may Allah bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Thank you all.
Signed:
Professor Suleiman Mohammed
From Gombe State.

Jumu’at Mubarakah, @ProfIsaPantami our Boss,
Alhamdulillah for your safe and successful trip. Welcome back home, Sir!
May Allah continue to strengthen, protect, and bless you with more wisdom and success as you keep inspiring, mentoring and shaping lives.
Today, His Eminence Shaykh Dr. Ṣāliḥ bin Fawzān Al-Fawzān (may Allah preserve him) has been appointed Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, and President of the General Presidency for Scholarly Research and Fatwa, holding ministerial rank. This appointment came via royal decree from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince His Royal Highbin Salman (may Allah preserve them).
Born in Ash-Shamāsiyyah, a town in the Al-Qassim region, in 1354 AH (1935 CE), Shaykh Al-Fawzān grew up amidst a love for the Noble Qur’an and learning. His early education began locally, followed by studies at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, where he earned Bachelor’s, Master’s, and doctoral degrees in Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh). His Master’s thesis examined inheritance laws, while his PhD. dissertation explored rulings on permissible and forbidden foods in Islamic law.
Shaykh Al-Fawzān benefited from esteemed scholars like Shaykh Abdullah bin Hamid, Shaykh Ibrahim bin Ubayd in Buraydah, and later Shaykh Abdulaziz bin Baz in Riyadh. Post-graduation, he embarked on a lifelong teaching journey, serving at the Institute of Knowledge in Riyadh, the College of Sharia, and the College of Usul al-Deen, eventually becoming Director of the Higher Institute of Judiciary. His tenure nurtured generations of judges, scholars, and students across the Kingdom.
Alongside academia, Shaykh Al-Fawzān served decades as Imam and Khateeb at Prince Mutaib bin Abdulaziz Mosque, Riyadh, teaching creed, jurisprudence, inheritance, and Arabic studies. His voice resonated globally through the enduring Saudi radio program “Noor ala al-Darb”, earning respect for his calm, evidence-based explanations.
Shaykh Al-Fawzān embodies the early scholars’ blend of knowledge, humility, and balance. Works like “Al-Irshad ila Saheeh al-I’tiqad”, “Al-Bayan li-Akhṭa’ Ba’ḍ al-Kuttab”, and “Al-Khuṭab al-Minbariyyah” (four volumes) are trusted references. He contributed to shaping Islamic studies curricula, ensuring sound, evidence-based learning for future generations.
As Grand Mufti, Shaykh Al-Fawzān assumes Saudi Arabia’s highest religious authority, guiding scholarly research, fatwa issuance, and chairing the Council of Senior Scholars A life of teaching, clarity, and service culminates in this esteemed honour – a trust he carries humbly. He epitomizes peace, humility, justice, and truth. May Allah preserve Shaykh Dr. Ṣāliḥ Al-Fawzān, bless his efforts, and make his knowledge a beacon for humanity, and make this appointment to help in bringing peace, justice, and prosperity to the world.

I also had the opportunity to visit Hausawa Collections and Clothing in Gombe, an investment by our own, Muhammad Sani Ado.
The 28-year-old established "Hausawa Collection and Clothing" in Gombe while he was in his 100-level university studies, initially using a bicycle for transport and later a motorbike.
He has employed over 25 people and established 2 shops for tailoring, designing, and selling fabrics like Shadda, Governor Voile, Massino Wool, Plain yards, Ambassador Voile, and Osaka, among others.
His products are high quality, affordable, and guaranteed. He also uses the centre to teach local youths tailoring and designing, among other skills. He is a graduate and a job creator for other youth.
In the visit, I was joined by respected personalities, such as Sarkin Malaman Gombe, Professor Muhammad Bello Abubakar, Dr Umar Garba Dokaji, Alhaji Hassan Ali Ibrahim (Sintalin Pantami) and, Malam Musa Muhammad Maikatifa among many others.

To all our customers at Hausawa Collection, thank you for your continued trust, support, and loyalty. We’re truly honored to be part of your journey in style.
Today at GSU’s second gate, I recalled how, six years ago, my late father Alhaji Ado Sarkin Hausawa (may Allah have mercy on him) brought me petrol and money when I couldn’t travel home. His love and prayers still move me. May Allah grant him Jannah.
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, Dear @ProfIsaPantami
Congratulations on the joyous wedding fatiha of your daughter, Dr. Hafsah. May Allah (SWT) bless their union with happiness, love, and harmony, and may their home be filled with barakah. Ameen.
