Got mixed feelings on those early Tuchel changes, I got the logic, spread the defence as they started to struggle in wide areas, & while this is some hindsight, Pickford isn’t great vs long shots & the changes were early

Three man midfield, it looks so spooky. Look at Messi’s position, he knows. There’s too much space either side of the midfield three. Half space crosses, wide rotations, a back five that’s pinned. The fifth defender subbed on communicates defending your net too.

ARG have excellent technical quality but it's the way they accelerate possession, mostly through Leo. Possession accelerators are the most valuable profiles in football and ARG do it so well as a team.
