Let us not make iTFAs related regulation in #Pakistan a policy success, but implementation failure. We need to enforce the regulation, making it part of the food liscening system.

We need to modify the food supply in order to change the food environment which has become obesogenic and diabetogenic. Pakistan now needs to enforce the iTFA related limit of less than 2% in ALL foods specially the banaspati ghee.

#Pakistan must reduce iTFAs in ghee so that its population does not consume an extremely harmful ingredient.

As per recommendations of the World Health Organization, Pakistan's food authorities must incorporate Pakistan Standards related to the iTFA reduction in the licensing system.
