The current issue is that exactly the same figures appear to have been sent to multiple taxpayers, which clearly cannot be correct. 🤯

It only leads to confusion and unnecessary panic among recipients.

Reminders for Advance Tax compliance are certainly welcome and helpful.

However, flagging routine transactions such as normal purchases and sales as “significant transactions” is certainly not appropriate.

A simple, friendly reminder would serve the purpose far better than communication that reads like a formal notice.

For the FIRST TIME IN HISTORY, a due date of PT - Professional Tax has been PREPONED — from 31st March to 15th March 2026. This is unprecedented & deeply unfair to lakhs of honest taxpayers.

To make matters worse:
- The Mahagst portal is NOT working
- Businesses & professionals CANNOT file returns or make payments
- Taxpayers are WILLING to comply — the system is NOT letting them

Penalizing taxpayers for a government portal failure is absolutely unjust.

We strongly demand an immediate extension of the PTRC and PTEC deadline till 31 May and make portal working by 31 March

TDS Framework Changing from 01.04.2026

Under the Income Tax Act, 2025, the entire TDS structure is being reorganised.

• No change in rates or thresholds
• Old sections like 194C, 194J, 194H replaced by table-based references
• New payment codes (1001–1067) for challans & returns
This is a structural shift, not a tax change — but systems and accounting software will need updates.

Many assessees are getting demand notices because of incorrect 234B and 234C interest calculated by the ITD software at the time of ITR filing.

Taxpayers shouldn’t be penalised for system errors. Opportunity to file a revised return is also passed.

Requesting Income tax department to relinquish assesses from this inconvenience of additional payment. It is unjust and not warranted.

1) ROC Due Date - Portal not working

2) IT Revised Return Due Date - Orignal ITR not processed, So Revised cannot file

3) Foreign Assets - Even Taxpayer dont know details of ESOP/Stock, Hence not possible to Update

4) GSTR 9/9C - Not yet done due to Date Extend of ITR / Tax Audit, Very less time

अब होना यही है, की असल में कोई भी काम पूरा नहीं होगा और सरकार को पेनल्टी के नाम पर खूब पैसा मिलेगा
