I was laid off from Twitter today. I was the designer in charge of our new rebranding to X.
I learned so much in my 2.5 weeks at the company but I’m excited to see where I land next.
If you’re hiring a self taught, junior designer please DM me. Graphic design is my passion!
So this was an interesting but contentious interview I did on a topic that was not agreed upon beforehand, a bait and switch. I RT it here not because it’s the most amazing interview but in case some find it a useful tool for science communication with an aggressive interviewer

.@GlennYoungkin is hoping you won't notice that he caved to the Daily Wire and secretly eliminated suicide prevention resources for LGBTQ youth.
You should DEFINITELY not retweet this so others know as well. https://t.co/mJ010XTcru
Section 3 of the 14th Amendment bars anyone from holding office who “engaged in insurrection" against the U.S.
This isn't some obscure provision. A New Mexico judge used it last year against an insurrectionist county commissioner.
It must also apply to Donald Trump.
43 million Americans who were promised relief by an elected president just got screwed over by an unelected group of justices, half of whom were appointed by a president who lost the popular vote and benefited from a stolen seat.
Yep. It’s all totally fine. Nothing to see here.
Justice Alito accepted tens of thousands of dollars in lavish vacation gifts from a billionaire who lobbied to cancel the student loan forgiveness.
After the gifts, Alito voted to overturn. This SCOTUS’ corruption undercuts its own legitimacy by putting its rulings up for sale.
.@chrislhayes: "You'd think this would be a pretty open and shut case at this point, but today the indicted ex-president offered a 12-point refutation of the recording."
Bending disgracefully to the will of Donald Trump, Republicans today revived their absurd effort to censure @RepAdamSchiff. What can you say about a party that embraces the Big Lie, insurrection and George Santos but wants to censure Adam Schiff?
BREAKING: Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is humiliated after the floor of Congress erupts, chanting, "Shame shame, shame!” at McCarthy after he censured Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff over his investigations into Donald Trump.
But it gets worse for McCarthy…
ABC News reports that McCarthy tried to control the outburst against him, but “the banging of his gavel could barely be heard over Democrats yelling that the move was a "disgrace" and more.
As the vote was called, Democratic Congresdman Eric Swalwell shouted at McCarthy, “It's pathetic that you're doing this. Pathetic!”
ABC reports that “Schiff was surrounded by fellow Democrats in the chamber, many of whom high-fived and embraced him as he walked towards the front,” and that “multiple Democrats screamed, “What about Santos?"
Please retweet and ❤️ if you stand with Congressman Adam Schiff against Kevin McCarthy — and consider investing in Tribel, a “woke” new Twitter competitor that is currently doing a round of equity crowdfunding and just blew past $1.8 million raised from 4,400 of its users. BREAKING: Hero Jan. 6th cop Michael Fanone finally gets justice as the Trump insurrectionist who drove a stun gun into his neck is sentenced to a staggering 12.5 years in prison.
Daniel "D.J." Rodriguez pleaded guilty to felony conspiracy, obstruction of an official proceeding, tampering with documents or proceedings, and inflicting bodily injury on officers using a deadly or dangerous weapon.
Rodriguez traveled from California to D.C. to partake in the deadly insurrection and belonged to a deranged Telegram group called "PATRIOTS 45 MAGA Gang" where he wrote that "there will be blood" and "welcome to the revolution."
After attacking Officer Fanone, Rodriguez bragged in the telegram chat: “Omg I did so much f-cking shit and got away. Tazzed the f-ck out of the blue."
The judge slammed Rodriguez as a “one-man army of hate, attacking police officers and destroying property."
Fanone spoke at the sentencing and called Rodriguez "pathetic." He later added that he doesn't "give a shit about Daniel Rodriguez" because he "ceased to exist to me as a person a long time ago."
