@blakealbers Fresh, never frozen beef in the window at your grocery store is almost exclusively US beef. Beef in Stouffers frozen meals, Campbell’s soups, fast food between a wrapper is where foreign beef is bought. Do those buyers really care where that product comes from?
@NickHorob@TurboFarmerJr For manure it would be great if you could have a price per gallon because I do not know how much our manure weighs. Also, if we could add some more micronutrients to the custom product for the manure that would be helpful. Cool tool though!
@JeffBullerman@JohnDeere Yup I haven’t had any troubles. If you haven’t already try naming them as specific as possible. It helps eliminate confusion in the future.
@JFlikkema I don’t know, we also process a lot of market ready fat cattle out of Canada that would affect the spot market. I would think both should see a pop if it isn’t already priced in (being a futures market and all).🤷🏻♂️
Cattle market question: Feeders coming in from Mexico and fat cattle from Canada will be cost prohibitive with 25% added on them keeping already extremely tight supplies even tighter. Is this already priced into record high values or should we see another leg higher next week?
@Budgetdog_@imalecrobinson It’s really not about having time for it, because it isn’t hard to figure out. It is more about if you enjoy travel. Then points can be massive. 15-20x the value of cash rewards.
@_TheMizzouTiger@LouieDN Yup we spray 63gpa of UAN and 5gpa of ATS in the spring. A floater will be tough to replace. Soy pre, post and fungicide applications are another story. My grandfather farmed with horses, now there are 800hp tractors that don’t require an operator. Never say never.
