Well it happened, the email from the energy company I was dreading. Despite signing a contract last year, with an agreed fixed amount. EDF have now seen fit to increase that 'fixed' amount by 21%. One does wonder what the point of a contract is.
BT made £1.3bn, gave £750m to shareholders and the CEO got £3.5m.
We have members using foodbanks.
Today BT announced £400m profit for 1/4 year.
Tomorrow our members strike for the first time since 1987 and have been subjected to extreme intimidation.
