We are thrilled to share that our detailed map of Taiwan was presented to President Lai of Taiwan.
by @ipacglobal.
The gift was presented for the 2024 Summit in Taipei, attended by nearly 50 cross-party lawmakers from 24 countries including @OlivierCadic@SarahChampionMP@bueti
Très heureuse de faire "la une" de la revue @Grand_Continent aujourd'hui avec cette cartographie de l'espace stratégique chinois. L'occasion de retrouver les cartes créées par @CIGeography pour mon étude pour le NBR publiée fin 2024.
@WeaponScientist 850 Tomahawks would imply about 50% of all VLS cells in the region were loaded with them, and that would also assume winchester. Usual TLAM loadouts assumed from two NPS papers are closer to 33%. See pic for fleet assumptions:
New estimate from @FPRI / @payneinstitute
375 TLAM, 310 SMs by 3/3.
It would represent 72% of the estimated TLAM loadout and 37% of the SM loadout (SM-2/3/6).
A whoping 41% of all VLS expended in 4 days, the most of all estimates so far. (685/1672)

A non-exhaustive tally complied via released U.S. media of Tomahawk cruise missile launches since the beginning of Operation Epic Fury. At least 82-108 Tomahawks have been launched as of 3/16/26. My latest and new weekly project with Naval News:

Correction, latest CSIS estimate for D+6 is at 319 TLAMs. Putting estimated usage at 61%, with about 200 left, 12 days ago.

Today, the Navy has 8482 VLS cells, assuming a third is underway and loaded following the same method as above, that would represent 2827 cells with about 1143 TLAM.
From a munitions perspective, the United States can maintain the current tempo virtually indefinitely.
That does not mean it should, or that every munition expended automatically brings the United States closer to achieving a desirable political outcome.
But claims that the United States will run out of precision-guided munitions needed to sustain the ongoing air campaign are unfounded.
Curious about China's efforts to expand its #StrategicSpace in the South China Sea? Everything will become crystal clear thanks to this video presentation by @becstrating. Maps by @CIGeography

Due to the tremendous interest in our "Sentinels of the Sea" #wargame, we're working to create an off-the-shelf version to help others run their own matrix-style maritime domain awareness wargame. Here is a preview of the game box. Who's interested? 😉 #wargaming@CNA_org
New reporting by @politico indicates that JASSM missiles are now being considered for military assistance to Ukraine. https://t.co/8LKhIUdhgi Last month we produced a series of visualizations to show where the missiles would reach:
We designed the map for the #SEACAT24 multilateral exercise in Singapore: it includes multiple layers of details key for its role as a Maritime Domain Awareness wargame. The game is called Sentinels of the Sea and was designed by @SebastianBae.
For those you asked about what the game looks like, here is a glimpse of "Sentinels of the Sea." We have a beautiful, data driven map by @CIGeography -- outlining undersea cables, maritime traffic, ports, and more. @CNA_org

You’ve heard about island chains, but what about “island clouds”? In his essay, @AndrewSErickson masterfully describes China’s maritime #StrategicSpace, beautifully illustrated by @RhodesMaps and @CIGeography
