@mayorofutopia_@jadedconsultant@McJuggerNuggets If you know anyone with a DS child in real life then you will be aware that more often than not they are not physically healthy but often do have one or more physical ailments, sometimes even leading to early death.
@mdvirgilio We had two because that’s peaceful for our family. More sounds chaotic and draining mentally and financially to me. With two we were able to give each child one-on-one quality time, put them in enriching activities, pay for their post-secondary education, and live comfortably
@JezziiB Not only that, it’s absolutely unfulfilling to be a servant. I wasn’t interested in becoming a housekeeper or caregiver as a paid role, why would I want to do it for free?
@MarkMovesDirt@KenCCheng@MatrixMysteries 15 hours is for the people there that absolutely should not be there and are wasting everyone’s time, so they have to wait as it is triaged, as it should be.
@joycewintie@usanewshq So he worked himself to the bone. She spent every day serving others 24/7 without a break. the kids were most likely parentified and got no quality time with either parent. Sounds dreadful and soul sucking for all.
@Skynet_T700@nate666brad@dubsndoo I have two children very close to the same age and they do not at all think like your racist, misogynistic, homophobic son. Your son learned that from you and you never gave him the tools and abilities to possess independent thought or critical thinking skills, so he parrots you
@kbweingart@BillWiIdin I’ve worked from home (independent contractor) for the past 16 years and would never be able to go back to an office setting after doing this. I’m definitely not lonely and don’t miss forced office chat one bit.
@BillWiIdin If you can get all the work done that needs to be done in part-time hours, then who cares? Employees should be getting paid to do the work they need to do, not to occupy office space for a set amount of hours.
@VetDad25@brandil387292@hell_line0 I didn’t say or imply I’m morally superior to you. I’m explaining my reasoning behind the decision I would make, which objectively minimizes the suffering of an infant.
@VetDad25@brandil387292@hell_line0 I would place the comfort of my child over my own feelings. If you think that means I lack morals, that’s your prerogative.
