..(Summit), led by Israeli businessman Zohar Levy, has been quietly operating rent-stabilized housing in the city for years — through a previously unreported relationship with the brother of Pinnacle Group's CEO.

.@Apple Apple dictation is getting increasingly annoyingly inaccurate and spell check is overreaching in changing what I wrote just as I press the send button. Better calm your AI down before it heads the way of Grok4. Ew.
.@NYCMayor every weekend I live with of one of your worst decisions ever: the destruction of the GrowNYC composting program. It was one of the most successful, important community environmental programs New York City has known.
@MKoellhoffer @duolingo I have the same issue. And I agree. Some people can still practice to earn hearts and others can't. Most of the changes Duolingo makes, I can live with. But this one tops the scales. There are alternatives --most people are suggesting Drops or Lingvist.
@jooltman @nyc311 2) the words are a frickin' problem!
Laws are written in non-regular-human-readable language. It's always so 'someone' can avoid or benefit unfairly from the law. 'Someone' who is richer/more powerful than me. Plus no one is in charge of organizing the resultant gobbledygook.
@jooltman @nyc311 1) Example: NYC Compost fiasco (law created by budget): funding was yanked in a Nov last year forms the extremely successful GrowNYC community composting program & replaced w nowhere-near-ready, yet mandatory as of 2025 DSNY program. Decades of advocacy/stewardship/education 🚽
@jooltman @nyc311 Result = me and my compost-enthusiast neighbors have NOWHERE to take our compost for at least a year. Most of our buildings will not comply in 2025 and there will be no enforcement. Mayor: 0 points for saving the slice of environment that supports human life.
@noneck@NYC_DOT@CMJenGutierrez@StreetsblogNYC Yes, the consequences for those trash cans overflowing are worse.
And, no, removing them didn't solve the sanitation issue.
It only "fixed" the overflowing issue.
Intended irony. They were removed after I made tons of requests for more.
.@ATTHelp I've been paying for AT&T cell service for over three years and can't get Signal at my apartment on the first floor. No help for me? What the heck?
.@WSJ I used to subscribe but would NEVER again. You wasted 20 seconds of my life on hunting for the tiniest x buried in a pattern to close your stupid ad covering my ENTIRE weather app. #evilMarketing
@atse12345 @RalphSpeedy @TransAlt@MTA@MTAbusNews I've been hit by 2 pedestrians running across the street while I was stopped at a light on my bike. My bike is more reliable than public transport. I can't afford public transport or gym on my https://t.co/z77mhLnftU $. My bike is both++.
& do U ❤️ being told what U *should* do?
All e-bikes will be forced to register. All e-bikes, no exceptions. Not only would this be a nightmare for DOT to manage, but it will also be predatory.
It means that delivery workers will go back to being pulled over at random, and selective enforcement in communities of color.
🚨🚨🚨This is the most regressive piece of legislation in recent #bikenyc history and an alarming number of council members are signing on….and there are some surprising names.
This would be a disaster for people on bikes. A disaster.
