@thenate36@elonmusk All authority in heaven and on earth has already been given to Christ. The fulfillment of the great commission will be the day everyone understands this.
@Evil_MerlinX@AgainstAtheismX Biblical law can be separated into 3 categories:civil, ceremonial, moral. Many civil laws in ancient Israel have general equity for today. Ceremonial laws were abrogated with the coming of Christ(so let’s put another shrimp on the Barbie) and the Bible condemns chattel slavery.
@god_came_down@sola_chad John Calvin didn’t invent “Calvinism”. The doctrines of grace existed long before Calvin existed. The apostles taught what we now refer to as “Calvinism”. The whosoevers of John 3:16 are those that believe and they believe only because God draws(drags) them as we see in John 6:44
"Even though I am of Scots/Irish descent, if one day I decided to change my name to Cainnech o’ the hills, someone should suspect that I was up to something."

@waltermasterson This is actually not even remotely absurd. Jesus would obey the law of the land in conformity to His own law. If Jesus broke that law he would’ve been found to be with sin and couldn’t have paid the penalty for sin. He also would be found not be God.
@JebraFaushay To the contrary, I think our country may be greatly improved by liberals choosing not to have any posterity. Doesn’t mean I believe we should let them murder their children in the womb but still.
