In a significant milestone for energy transition in Gujarat, @GuvnlOfficial’s resource adequacy plan by CEA and @CNet_GETRI projects a 21% reduction in Average Power Purchase Cost (APPC) by 2030, thanks to lower renewable rates compared to thermal power. This is driven by affordable solar and wind power in the state and GUVNL’s aggressive renewable power tie-ups, along with energy storage solutions. This will result in lower costs for consumers in the state, ensuring a just and affordable energy transition for all. Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) invites suggestions and comments on the resource adequacy plan.
