But they are controlled by the party. Those parties have values.
In EVERY county, R and D, there is a kingpin. The kingpin is known in the inner circle, but not known to the general public, and retains power for years and decades. Candidates must pay homage to the kingpin to get the go ahead. They can win if they don't, but it is much more difficult. Then they battle behind closed doors w the county party. I've lived in many counties and seen this. Sometimes there are coups, and the kingpins get overthrown.
What I am saying is there is a machine behind candidates and you are always voting for a faction within the party which is far bigger than the individual.
In the GOP, there are two separate parties. I dont vote R just because it says R because sometimes those Rs are really Ds, and yes that happens all the time at the local level.
I view Ds as the party of force. What VALUES did Sahid have that you shared?
@cowboy_0108@AnthonyG0528 Its like pooping. No one wants to hear about pooping. Should we create a flag about pooping and plaster it everywhere and force people to look at it?
I am officially declaring June is straight sex month.
Darializa Avila Chevalier prides herself on removing the J. Marion Sims statue in Central Park and treats that as proof of her moral superiority. In reality, it’s a perfect example of how people like her dismantle the reputations of white men who made enormous contributions by rewriting history to fit their ideology.
Sims was a 19th‑century surgeon who helped crack one of the worst medical nightmares women faced at the time... vesicovaginal fistula, a childbirth injury that left women constantly leaking urine, stinking of urine, isolated, and ashamed in a world with almost no effective treatment.
J. Marion Sims developed a surgical repair and instruments that changed gynecology worldwide and led to specialized women’s hospitals, saving or dramatically improving the lives of countless women who otherwise would have been written off as hopeless.
The modern narrative her socialist cult pushes rips all of that out of context. They zoom in on the ugliest, most painful part of the story... his experimental operations on enslaved women... without ever acknowledging that those women were brought to him already destroyed by that horrific childbirth injury.
They strip away the reality of 1840s medicine in the Deep South, where surgery was brutal for everyone and vesicovaginal fistula was a life‑ruining condition with no real cure, and then treat his crude, early attempts to fix it as nothing but sadism.
There is no serious effort to weigh how common harsh surgical practice was at the time, what options actually existed in that setting, how surgery worked before modern anesthesia, or how many women later had their lives given back by techniques and instruments that grew out of that work. Those complexities are erased and replaced with a simple, politically useful script... "Sims was just a racist butcher whose “achievements” deserve only condemnation."
It’s revisionist history aimed at degrading white men and turning our own national story into nothing but a catalog of crimes. And the fact that a congressional candidate like Darializa Avila Chevalier treats tearing down his statue as a top credential tells you exactly what kind of “leadership” she’s offering... not building anything better, but vilifying the people who built this country and teaching you to despise the civilization she’s standing on.

🍑Georgia voters, NEVER FORGET:
Rick Jackson supported Jeb Bush in 2016, cutting checks to Liz Cheney RIGHT after she voted to impeach Trump, and hosting fundraisers for Geoff Duncan at his own house.
All while his backyard, Forsyth County, is now flooded with over 35,000 foreigners thanks to H1B visas and every other worker program. Brian Kemp personally rolled out the red carpet for them to flood Georgia counties, which his cronies, Rich Jackson supports.
Rick Jackson isn’t “conservative.” He’s a full-blown open-borders globalist who loves cheap foreign labor more than Georgia workers.
Enough is enough.
The ONLY real choice for Governor is @burtjonesforga
No more RINOs. No more sellouts.
No more importing the third world into Georgia.
Georgia First. 🇺🇸

@Gaynotqueer1 Here is the answer. I am in marketing and prior to Bud Light, I was told by many executives to go along w it because they were afraid of the backlash from the left. They didn't care about Pride at all.
Now they no longer have to promote leftist agendas.
I remember when businesses provided goods and services. They didn't take political stances. They didn't do round up to pretend they cared about charity. They sold what you needed.
Here is an example. I did marketing for a chain of stores. An associate put a sign on the door to vote yes for a tax to fund the local fire dept as the area was having lots of fires and the dept was underfunded. I didnt live in that district, but I would have voted yes.
I immediately took the sign down when I saw it. This upset the associate. I explained there would be people who would vote against it, and they wouldn't shop at our business if they saw the sign. I waited for the election results. 33% voted no. Why intentionally put up anything with ANY political statement? It is stupid.
Sell your widgets and keep sex in the bedroom.
Would you go if they had a flag that stated they had straight sex? Honestly. A flag w a straight line. Would that turn you off? Why? All they are stating is they enjoy ps going in vs.
I have gay friends. I just don't care how people orgasm and am tired of it being shoved down our throats.
@MoralQuery@NormalGayPsych He clearly stated, "We are five days from fundamentally transforming America"and that he was going to redistribute wealth. Well, he did both of those. Thank goodness for Trump.
@fool_roo@NormalGayPsych J6 was a peaceful protest. It was in no way an Insurrection. I describe it as when a team wins the national championship and the fans go down on their field to celebrate. No one is fighting or damaging anything.
