Columbia Public Schools will not be in session on Friday, January 12, 2024, due to inclement weather.
The expected midday arrival of winter weather coupled with dropping temps may not allow for a safe dismissal at the end of the school day.
Safety is our top priority.
‼️ Due to the incoming ice, snow, and freezing temperatures, we will be closed tomorrow, Saturday January 13.
Our next planetarium event will be Saturday February 10. You can check out our show schedule at https://t.co/PLPXdCr9FD.
Stay safe and warm all! ☃️
We are watching the forecast for later this week for continued winter weather! If you're a ticket holder for our Saturday shows, please watch your email closely! If there is another snow day for CPS on Friday, we will most likely cancel our Saturday morning event.
Stay tuned!
Rock Bridge Families, all parking lots and walkways are treated. Give yourself extra time this morning and be careful as you enter campus. Remember, today is a Late Start (2 hours delayed) and a B day. #RockBridgeRocks
The Leonids meteor shower peaks tonight! 🌠
For the best view, go to a dark (and safe) place between midnight and dawn, lay down and point your feet toward the east, and wait 30 minutes or so for your eyes to adjust.
