I think there's a good chance that the semis/memory trade is tapped out in the near term.

Importantly, this doesn't mean that *price* has topped. It's very possible that SOXL/MU/etc are higher in a few months. However, I think that the risk/reward for the sector has probably peaked, and going forward even if there is more upside the volatility and potential downside makes the category less appealing than it was previously.

What this means is that aggressive/high-turnover capital is likely to be flowing out of semis in the near term and looking for the next narrative to rotate into. Keep an eye out for which companies and sectors perform uncharacteristically well through monthend + start of July. That's your clue for what the biggest outperformers will be in Q3.
