When I first started working on Splatworld, the original idea was "how can I get an agent to produce splats without human input?" It was spurred on by an article I shared on my X (@leftcurvemaxing) called "Stop Ignoring the Metaverse".

The TLDR of the article is that I think the technology is finally catching up to many of the original concepts introduced several years ago, and the metaverse as an idea will finally be able to grow in a meaningful way.

This is what brought me to Splatworld. If I want to help push the category forward, I need to find a way to contribute to its development and help bring the tools of building out the metaverse to more people.

If you're unfamiliar, a quick overview of splats: splats are 3D worlds generated from an image or images, that can be navigated either through a viewer on a monitor, or through a headset like an Apple Vision Pro or a Meta Quest. Splats are now being used by robotics researchers for testing environments, game developers for game environments, and visual artists for a variety of reasons, such as A$AP Rocky's music video for "Helicopter".

@theworldlabs has Marble, which is the best splat generation tool out there, and they were nice enough to give me beta access to their private API to work on Splatworld, so it became my whole life since the new year.

Today, I'm very proud to share what I've been working on. Splatworld has transformed from a simple agent-run flow of "generate image, feed it to Marble, loop complete" into three core components:

1. https://t.co/e3jfx1cMVd - A site showcasing my own agent's training and development as it grows and evolves, generating splats on its own and developing a taste profile between four distinct daily generation cycles. One cycle is focused on generating splats with an emphasis on environments for robotics research, based on found images, and three cycles are fully agent-generated. One creative indoor space, one robotics space, and one creative outdoor space, all intending to showcase the power, creativity, and utility made possible by splats. @NanoBanana Pro handles the image generation, @claudeai handles the prompting, and @theworldlabs' Marble handles the splat conversion.

2. The Splatworld Agent - A @Claudeai Code extension for anyone to start to finish generate their own splats autonomously. You feed a prompt to your agent, it generates its own prompts based on yours for image variance, and you assist your agent in building a taste profile. Once a taste profile is established, you can have your agent run generation cycles to create splats for you based on the agent's training. If images aren't coming out how you'd like them to, you can spend more time walking the agent through more training cycles until you're getting results you're happy with.

3. The Splatworld Framework - A framework intended for batch creating splats, either for robotics researchers converting their own image set into splats, with organization labels for generated images, or for game developers and visual artists who are looking for a similar workflow with reference photos they already have, with the option to generate their own images within the framework. Splats can then be viewed and explored with a locally hosted viewer, like the one that's on the Splatworld site.

The site and agent will be live at launch, and the Splatworld Framework will be coming at a later date as I finish up testing.

I've been excited to share Splatworld with the world, but one piece was kind of preventative.

Due to the Marble Labs API being private, not everybody would be able to spin up their own version of Splatworld, which left me with in a kind of weird "here's this really cool tool I built, but you can't actually use it yourself."

Two days ago, @theworldlabs released their Marble API to the public, which allows anybody to spin up their own workflow for splat generation. This was the last piece that was necessary to finally release Splatworld, and I'd like to thank the Marble Labs team for giving me access to their API in advance.

And now, AI researchers didn't just build chatbots; they accidentally wrote the best self-development manual in history.

By treating your brain like a neural network, you can upgrade your mind using the exact same principles used to train LLMs.

The scariest realization in AI research is that fluency does not equal reasoning. Just because a model (or a person) can string together eloquent sentences doesn't mean they understand the logic behind them.

To become more intelligent, you must stop prioritizing the appearance of competence (optimizing for grades, likes, or status benchmarks) and start optimizing for the actual processing power of your mind.

My timeline was pure doom 3 days ago. After yesterday’s pump same accounts are suddenly bullish.

Made me think about how most people use CT.

- they scroll
- see everyone panicking/celebrating
- assume that's the reality

I used to do this. If 50 people said we're going lower, I'd second guess my analysis. Cost me trades I should've taken.

What shifted was realizing the timeline is emotion in real time. People describe what's happening now and project it forward. Down feels like forever down. Up feels like forever up.

Here's what actually helps🫡

> Build your own analysis framework instead of relying on others' opinions
> Write down your thesis before checking Twitter so you have something to compare against
> Treat extreme sentiment as a contrarian signal
> When everyone agrees on a direction, that's usually when the move is ending
> Follow people for their process, not their predictions
> Take breaks from the timeline when it's too emotional
> Track your decisions to see when outside noise influenced you vs your own analysis

The crowd's emotions are useful data. Just don't let them become your strategy.
