California Department of Fish and Wildlife Officer Chad Volheim collapsed while responding to a routine call—what followed has become a devastating medical crisis. After multiple hospitalizations and evaluations at top medical centers, including UCLA, Stanford, and the Mayo Clinic, Chad still has no diagnosis or treatment plan.

Now bedridden and unable to work, Chad and his family are facing overwhelming medical and financial strain as they continue searching for answers. Many critical tests and travel costs are not covered by insurance.
