A reminder that
1.) Study Reports in the PCA carry no constitutional authority and are merely meant to provide pastoral guidance
2.) What is constitutionally binding is the WCF (1788) which makes the suppression of false religion a duty of the 2nd Commandment per WLC 108
3.) While women shouldn't be maligned when we speak about their roles in the Church and society, believing it is wrong for women to serve in the political sphere is the long standing Reformed, and Christian, position.

Sure, but in practice I really think it depends on your Presbytery. Presbyteries will likely give greater weight to some reports over others. For example, the PCA put out a study report which said that Roman Catholic baptisms aren't valid yet I've yet to meet an Elder whose church demands rebaptism in such cases

Leave the PCA because of poor procedure in a single Presbytery, join the PCUSA which affirms actually heresy 👍

To those frustrated with the PCA:

Don't bother sticking with a denomination that was founding upon not sticking with the denomination.

It's clear now that splitting from a denomination due to liberalism does not solve the problem, it just delays it for you and makes it 10x worse for the people you split from.

It's time to abandon the failed experiment that is the PCA and come home to mother PCUSA, the church that helped build America.

@JaymesLackey @JohnHMcCallum1 If I say "I affirm the Nicene Creed" but fellowship and affirm the Christian witness of one who denies the core tenets of the Creed, would you say my adherence to the creed is in any way meaningful or relevant?
