We ran into Sable customers from @DukeU and @VanderbiltU at the #metphys2023 poolside reception! It’s great to connect with fellow #metabolicphysiology enthusiasts, and we’re looking forward to making more connections here at the MetPhys meeting.
We are very hopeful that we'll be able to resume our on-site, hands-on courses in the fall!
High-Throughput Metabolic and Behavioral Phenotyping Course,
Oct 6-9: https://t.co/ENq5HRU4S0
An Introduction to Animal Respirometry, Nov 10-13: https://t.co/hmJPtOqxGa
We're happy to see the Promethion at Vanderbilt continuing to be put to good use to measuring energy expenditure and feeding behavior in a study on the #Gβγ-SNAP25 interaction's affect on #insulin secretion, diet-induced #obesity, and #adipocyte browning.

A great example of self-experimentation with a $100 cup of coffee & our new stable isotope analyzer! Parts of the recording are interpolated because Marshall had to attend several meetings during the day - we are staying busy here. Kudos, Marshall!
Virtual (Zoom) seminar by Erik Richter (Univ of Copenhagen) May 20 (Wed), 5pm UK (Denmark 6pm):
"Glucose Metabolism in Exercise and Recovery"

This scene of stellar creation, captured by Hubble, sits near the outskirts of the Tarantula Nebula. This cloud of gas and dust, as well as the many young and massive stars surrounding it, is the perfect laboratory to study the origin of massive stars: https://t.co/VhOiusmZBB
Come visit Sable Systems International at the Neuroscience conference in Chicago at booth 1824 to learn about our behavior and metabolic systems. #sfn2019
A useful feature - because of our high resolution gas analyzers, we can maintain a far higher flow rate than legacy systems & their repurposed industrial flue gas analyzers. Flow rates for REE can be 80-100+ L/min. No more choking on stale hypercapnic air at 20-30 L/min!
