Lying politicians don’t want you to vote. That’s why it’s even more important than ever to vote, especially if they’re trying to keep you from doing it. If you want to have any say about what happens in our country, state or city, you have to vote! https://t.co/ZT1VhDgyXx #vote

[Clifford J. Tasner @CTasner]

My friend Ricky de la Veaga and I created these short little GOTV animated videos to encourage those folks who aren't motivated to vote to get out and do so!

[Artist Activist @artist_activist]

Hey Twitter, your fellow citizens need you! It’s time to GOTV! We made some shorts to help you convince friends and family to brave the polls and vote in these crucial midterms. #vote #midterms2022 #usa 🧵

BREAKING: The CA Senate just passed #SB944 (@DrPanMD), 28-8, to recommit the $304 million in the #CABudget to reduce co-pays & eliminate deductibles in silver @CoveredCA plans. Without the bill, deductibles would go up $1K to $4750! The bill now goes to @CAGovernor @GavinNewsom!

I wrote and produced this with the very brilliant animator Cole Montminy. Please share.

I take 4 medications a day for my asthma. I have Kaiser so it's not too expensive, but millions of children who have asthma have families that can't afford their prescriptions. Please do something about this! @repcardenas #MyRxStory #LowerDrugCostsNow

@MylaReson Betty Doumas-Toto is one of the most passionate, energetic and smart activists I've ever had the pleasure of knowing and working with. ADA is so proud to have her on our board! #M4M4A #DontMessWithBetty

You love to see it! Great turn out in #ElizabethCity on this 42nd consecutive day of non-violent community protesting of the unjustified murder of #AndrewBrown by #Pasquotank Sheriff's Slave Patrol.
Truely #Inspiring. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

[Clifford J. Tasner @CTasner]

After years and years of reaching out to Tony's office about this very issue, I'm delighted that my congressman has finally come on board! I hope it presages other corporate Dems doing the math and putting the needs of their constituents ahead of their donors!

Question: What happens when you combine a feedwater pump failure with overconfidence and human error?
Answer: The 1979 nuclear meltdown at Three Mile Island.
https://t.co/Cg6TOjDB8L

[myla reson ☮️ @MylaReson]

As if the feedwater pump failure that caused the unit one reactor to be shut for close to three days - leaving roughly a million Texas households without power until the reactor was brought back online was not particularly significant.

[myla reson ☮️ @MylaReson]

Kate didn't seem to be aware of the fact that feedwater pumps essential for preventing a nuclear meltdown at the South Texas Nuclear Station froze because they were not adequately winterized.
