I can't find exact data, but with some analysis, it looks like the annual cost of implants for joint replacements is about 25b.

That's about what is paid, net, in total for the 10 Medicare Part D drugs in 2026, that are negotiated as part of the IRA

Negotiating implants should be a lot easier to negotiate.

And given the variance in the price of implants, there is a ton of margin to be picked up for doctors, hospitals and taxpayers

It's so fucked up there no one knows the cost of joint implants, brand drugs or medical procedures

It's all hidden.

Make all these contracts public domain. With pricing

watch the price of healthcare fall 30-40pct

I’ve noticed something since sharing my Tesla journey.

When someone who’s been chronically ill and living with chronic pain, spending years mostly housebound finally finds something that genuinely improves their quality of life, why is the first response from some people to point out everything that’s wrong with it?

I’m a grown woman. I did my research. I made the decision that was right for my life.

I didn’t buy a political statement.

I bought a car with Full Self-Driving because it has made driving physically easier for me.

It doesn’t cure my illnesses.
It doesn’t erase my pain.

But it reduces the workload of driving, helps conserve my energy, and has given me back a level of independence that I honestly thought I’d lost.

It has also eased the burden on my 86-year-old father, who has spent years driving me to countless medical appointments, infusions, and treatments.

Being able to take some of that weight off his shoulders means more to me than I can put into words.

You don’t have to want a Tesla.
You don’t have to buy an EV.

And you certainly don’t have to make the same decisions I did.

But if someone tells you they’ve found something that genuinely improves their quality of life, why not celebrate that first?

Sometimes the greatest gift you can give someone isn’t your opinion, it’s simply being happy that they got a small piece of their life back.

Under current law, the Attorney General can appoint an interim U.S. Attorney for up to 120 days.

If the position remains vacant, district court judges can step in and appoint their own pick to serve indefinitely.

No judge should be able to bypass the Senate, sideline the President, and install their own pick with no time limit.

We introduced the No Appointments by Rogue Judges Act to close this loophole permanently.

I’m asking for prayers for our 32-yr-old pregnant daughter who suffered a stroke from clots in the brain a week ago. It has been a very difficult week of ups and downs, but mostly downs.

Last night her brain was swelling again, clots were reforming and getting bigger and bleeding was increasing, so they took her in for a second surgery to remove the clots, which was a successful surgery. But then her brain started swelling too much overnight so they made the decision to remove the left half of her skull to give her brain room to expand. Now it’s a waiting game.

Our Kaylie has a 2 1/2 yr old daughter at home who loves her mommy very much. Plus, I can’t imagine life without my eldest daughter, whom I love more than words can express. We believe in the power of prayer, so please join us in asking our Heavenly Father for the brain swelling to go down, for the clots and bleeding to stop and for Kaylie to wake up and recover fully.
