18 months ago Ohio sent me to the US Senate with a simple job: secure the border, cut taxes for working families, and put the American people first. We did it, despite every single Senate Democrat fighting against us and all of them voting no to eliminating taxes on tips, overtime, and social security.

We fully funded the wall, immigration enforcement, and our brave Border Patrol agents. Illegal border crossings are down to ZERO for over a year! We ended the Biden border invasion. We passed the Laken Riley Act, which ensures criminal illegal aliens who hurt Americans are detained, not released.

Democrats shut the government down three times to stop border security. Not to cut spending. Not to balance the budget. To block border enforcement. They would rather freeze paychecks for TSA agents and FEMA workers than let federal law enforcement do its job. Historic opposition. We kept going anyway.

Now the same fight is on your ballot. Judges are on this ballot. The Ohio Supreme Court. The 9th District Court of Appeals. Those seats decide criminal cases, elections, and whether Ohio law means what it says, for six years at a time. State Senate. Congress. The House majority that keeps this agenda alive or hands it back.

Ohio builds things. We know what a secure border and a growing paycheck are worth. Do not sit this one out.

Where more than two dozen astronauts have called home. Where America’s first astronauts — the Mercury Seven — were put through their final testing in 1959. To this day, America’s astronauts come to @WrightPattAFB for training at the 711th Human Performance Wing, home of the School of Aerospace Medicine and the military’s only human-rated centrifuge.

Today’s vote was a deliberate, calculated betrayal of American innovation, engineered by a DC Democrat cartel led by Elizabeth Warren, doing the bidding of their Wall Street and big-bank bosses.

Senate Democrats proved they will burn America’s future to protect the status quo. Their vote against Clarity locks out the builders trying to modernize the U.S. financial system and leaves millions of Americans who actually use this technology unprotected and exposed.

For months Republicans negotiated in good faith and addressed every single Democrat demand, while they sabotaged the process at every turn. The only real goal for Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats was never regulation, never consumer protection, never American competitiveness. It was pure, obsessive Trump-hatred: deny the President a win at any cost.

The price of their rabid partisanship is handing U.S. leadership in financial technology to China while stuffing the pockets of the same Wall Street giants they pretend to oppose.

DC Democrats would rather play dirty politics than plant the American flag on the frontier of financial innovation.

I urge the administration to immediately promulgate rules at the SEC and CFTC to provide the stability and certainty needed so we don’t capitulate to China.

This is yet another betrayal of America by DC Democrats.
