Chief of Operations for a statewide association representing construction materials, essential minerals, ready mixed concrete and asphalt. @CalcimaRocks
A @ucdavis@Stanford study in @ScienceMagazine found building materials could ANNUALLY store more than 16 billion tonnes of CO2, with the largest potential for carbon storage in carbonated aggregates to make concrete.
The entire world emits ~37b tonnes of CO2 each year.

We are proud to provide essential construction materials to support the I-10 fix. Thanks @Caltrans & the hardworking people who provide materials to support CA’s critical infrastructure during times of crisis, today and every day @CaltransDist7@GavinNewsom@KarenBassLA
@CalcimaRocks hosted their annual Spring Thaw Safety Conference virtually this year. Luckily we got to work with safety lawyer extraordinaire @MineSafetyLaw again.
Your next meal out will cost you more unless voters reject Prop 15 – the $11.5b property tax increase. Why? Restaurants will face higher rents and property taxes plus higher costs for food. That means customers ultimately pay.

Another reason to go #NOonProp15:
“The unforeseen consequences of COVID-19 felt like a gut punch to Old Town’s Casa De Freds restaurant, but now its owners and employees are bracing for what they fear could be a knockout blow this November: Proposition 15”

Failing to understand how small businesses operate is another problem for Prop 15. Small business renters will pay higher rents due to Prop 15’s failure to protect Main Street businesses. That deserves another F.

“If you think it was hard for our middle class to succeed before, we haven’t seen anything yet…” says San Diego Mayor @Kevin_Faulconer on the higher cost of living that’s in store for California consumers.
We oppose Prop 15, the LARGEST property tax hike in California history. Stand with us and vote NO on Prop 15 in November.
