@TlvSteve29429 That is a great suggestion and I didn't know the website was still linking out to here. If you get a moment, can you send me the webpage that is linking to this account, so I can have it removed? Thank you so much.
@TlvSteve29429 Hello and thank you for reaching out.

@__ct__g Sorry, I don't have an answer to this off the top of my head. Someone else on the team might know more - try starting an official case with us via email at [email protected]
@itsmefinstii Sorry about that! Pretty much every Thunderbolt dock of ours in-between works with USB-C! Our TS4 would be a better fit if it's not too late to return the TS3 Plus.
@itsmefinstii Pretty much no USB-C hosts support this, which is why we consider USB4 the minimum requirement for the TS5 Plus.
If you're talking about the TS3 Plus, it's because the chipset it uses is from before backwards compatibility from Thunderbolt to USB was even an option.
@itsmefinstii The TS5 Plus leverages a technology called PCIe Passthrough to drive its Ethernet and the majority of the USB ports. This gives the dock expandability beyond what Thunderbolt natively supports, but the host computer has to support PCIe passthrough to support these features.
@enzocaststream Sorry about that! Try disconnecting the dock from wall power for 30-45 seconds before plugging it back in, then swap out the Thunderbolt cable if you have a spare. Beyond that, send us an email regarding this behavior if you haven't yet! [email protected]
@thleo_ We're not actively keeping up with this account currently. Drop us an email and we'll be happy to take a look at your case there! [email protected]
@zephyrkhambatta If none of this does the trick, start a case with us through an official channel for further diagnosis and troubleshooting. You can best get in touch via email at [email protected]
@ziademarcus Hi Marcus,
Thank you for contacting CalDigit Support. Please send us a DM or an email with your dock's serial number (located near the rear ports, likely starting with the letter "A" or "B") and a photo of your PSU with the label facing up.
Our email is [email protected]
