Continued to work on the my little system and developed other tools on the way. Took me quite some time to figure these out...Hopefully it can be useful for you. Available on gumroad if you're interested, with some example included :) #b3d#geometrynodes https://t.co/8bHe0EgKnf
To add insult to the injury, I start hearing my CPU fan going bonkers...check the temperature...87° 🤒...somehow it became partially dislodged and the only thing keeping it in place was the thermal paste. Cleaned everything up since I was there...working fine now...
And here I was very happily making modular tiny houses to fill the rest of the level...
I likely kept some of the parts selected and they moved God knows where when I moved something else...time to check the backups...🥲
Zygote is on Netflix. Awesome to concept/model/texture this for @neillblomkamp. Few years old now but I never get tired of seeing this.
Fun facts: Some of the hands were modelled after my parents. There were 754 fingers, 206 hands, 104 eyes, and 16 penis’.

@JuanManuelCos16 It will look MUCH better once I finally start gluing...rocky cliff face assets to the walls, adds rock rubble at the base of the them...and vegetation and small rocks to the areas you walk in.
Onward to the next section!
Last week's bridge/walls are now properly integrated to the fortification, follow the contours of the terrain and have wrecked parts with a lots of debris to add some visual flair. Also, new simple building to bulk it up a little!
@JuanManuelCos16 Oh no please, don't say its efficiently textured since its a simple unwrap for the time being. And since I'm showing it in marmoset the texture blending its not even working!
@user_160_ At leas 3 to 4 times, but I don't have a final number right now. I'll likely end chopping the textures in half to reduce the total size of the project, since there is a lot of them.
Blending mesh with smooth transition. It works best on flat terrains.

Quick #b3d unwrapping tip from the upcoming Pothead character course:
Follow active quads on just the straight quads, pin, then unwrap everything else. Works like magic.
