As I finish the semester, I just want to thank @kbhildebrandt and everyone in #edtc400 for an amazing class. I have learned so much from all of you and I hope to connect with you again in the future. I wish you all the best going forward!
@tinambowley Congratulations Tina, that's amazing! π₯³ Also, I'm very jealous. Getting first on Kahoot is an achievement I am still waiting for... I always crack under the pressure.
@MissNameth Thanks for sharing this! I have only used Flipgrid once or twice, but I agree that it is such a great tool and allows for a really unique way to interact and share knowledge. I love the fact that you can give video responses. It is a great way for Ts to give feedback to Ss.
Having a million tabs open is a university student's life. I had no idea this was something you could do with Chrome, so I thought I would share. #edtc400 https://t.co/njVs6Co957
@jjboutin4 I completely agree. I believe that Phys Ed is just as important as subjects like Math, Science, etc. It is sad, that despite all of this research and all the benefits, we still choose not to make Phy Ed a mandatory class past certain grades.
@tinambowley I have never heard of this before but it looks like such an awesome tool. I love how adaptable it is to all skill levels and ages and I know so many students who would have so much fun with it. Thanks for sharing!
Such a great article that explores the biases we have when it comes to implementing PBL and strategies we can use to make PLB more inclusive. #edtc400

@jjboutin4@etr_in I completely agree with you. So many studies show the power of building relationships and it is such a foundational piece. If there are no relationships, there is no feeling of trust or safety, and when that happens, true learning cannot happen. Thanks for sharing!
@jjboutin4@WeAreTeachers I really like these responses. Personally, I have heard this phrase a bunch in my Math classes. I specifically found the "let's close it up..." interesting and I'm glad they included it. Sometimes the most beneficial thing we can do is give our minds a break. Thanks for sharing!
@JordanWenger1 One thing I am learning in ECS 310 is that there needs to be a lot of discretion in the things we say and do as Ts/ professionals. Not to say that what this teacher is doing is wrong but there definitely needs to be an awareness of how our words reflect on the teaching profession
