ESRC funded Phd candidate & teaching fellow at the University of Liverpool researching intersectional organisational inequalities via queering research methods
Just completed a #Raceforlife
10k charity run for #cancerresearch. Starting my running journey this year has been transformative for my #PhD work. Growing up with a heart valve issue, I never imagined I’d do this. Empowered to race for my family and all children🌈❤️
"We are not human doings, we are human beings. Our Productivity may translate into material currency, but taking a rest is our dignified right." - Ebru Calin.
Thanks to @CalinEbru from the University of Liverpool Management School for these very true and thought-provoking words!
@ignaciojduran Thank you so much ❤️💫 how have you been ? Can’t wait to catch up with you properly soon and congratulate you in person for successfully completing the PhD 💫
A couple years ago, I told my best friend that „I don’t look nothing like a researcher“, trying to find a reason not to do something that scared me. Today I guess I am a researcher at day and a model at night.🧿💫
#NewProfilePic in celebration of my 30 years exploring, learning, struggling, mourning, loving, grieving and appreciating what life has to give🫶🏽
Aging is such a privilege ✨
Reflecting on my journey as a 1st time stream co-convenor&reviewer for the 2024 @GenderWorkOrg Conference. Submissions are ✨✨& I feel lucky to have found an academic Queer community that challenges the norms in organisation studies by queering how we (re)conceptualise the body
@drcroft85 Thank you, Charlotte! I feel very lucky to have had such a supportive environment in the department and cannot believe I am slowly approaching the end of year three - feels like yesterday when I first stepped foot into the building.
Reflecting on the intertwined nature of privilege and disadvantage, and on the power of how we frame our narratives, I'm humbled by the privilege and proud of sharing my story—an opportunity that sheds light on diverse identities and non-linear journeys in academia.
