Half-truth
Peter Odemwingie recall being at the centre of a bizarre misunderstanding when the January 2013 deadline day transfer that he had hoped to complete from West Bromwich Albion to Queens Park Rangers fell apart.
Three sides to every story✌️
SEYI MAKINDE.
If you've been wondering why many of us are carrying Seyi Makinde on our heads, here is one of the very few reasons.
I've said it here before that supporting @seyimakinde is a personal thing for me, you can check my pinned tweet to see that.
You can see civil servants and pensioners praising him for how he has been taking care of them...
These are our parents, being taken care of the way it should be...
Our brothers and sisters, getting their right as at when due...
And you want me not to support Seyi Makinde... It's not possible.
Seyi Makinde has performed wonderfully in Oyo State, he will perform wonderfully WHEN he becomes the president of Nigeria.

Any bandit you see with a gun in the forest, k!ll him. If you see any Yoruba or Igbo working with them, k!ll them too. If you see any Hausa involved in kidnapping, eliminat£ him immediately.”

I’m here again this morning to remind you that coming next year January we will be voting H.E. Seyi Abiodun Makinde as the next president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
APM is the party!!!
A league that is generating 0 income, no TV scheduled & a single goof stadium in a state used by over 8 professional teams will wake one day to postpone a big Derby cos of political activities 🤣
A Lagos Derby moved to Friday 4pm when the 65% of the fans are working class.
The anyhowness in this country is staggering.
Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (@officialABAT) and his associates are, as expected, spreading stories and documents to cloud the matter. For example, the letter below is alleged by President Tinubu’s associate (@renoomokri) to be from the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria (@USinNigeria). If authentic, given the @FBI’s recent admission, it raises questions about whether a U.S. agency provided inaccurate information.
But a close examination raises questions about the letter’s authenticity. It contains glaring spelling and grammatical errors: “czheck” instead of “check,” “maitatins” instead of “maintains,” and “it’s territories” instead of “its territories.” It also states, “The result of the checks were negative,” instead of “The result of the checks was negative,” uses the incomplete phrase “nor information of your department,” and says “contact me direct” instead of “contact me directly.”
Given these errors, we find it very difficult to accept this letter as authentic without independent verification. Dear President #Tinubu and associates: if this document is not authentic, presenting a fabricated document as an official U.S. government communication is a serious matter and may have legal consequences under U.S. law.

It is shocking that this government is just useless.
You want to cancel a top flight derby in Lagos.
Because you want to give apc a football stadium to do campaign?
I know these people are silly, but how stupid can you actually be?
It's sad and painful to see how sports is managed in this country. Political events takes preference over league games🙆♂️
Schedule disrupted cos they are the owner of the stadium🥹
Can't they use Tafawa Balewa Square🤷♂️ espcially now that you have 3 clubs in #NPFL27
Oyo State has raised the bar, but the journey doesn't stop here. The next chapter is about protecting our progress and pushing the standard even higher.

JUNGLE JUSTICE IS NOT JUSTICE. IT IS MURDER.
Another young man has reportedly lost his life to mob action following an accident around the Ajia area of Ona Ara, Ibadan.
What is even more disturbing is that this does not appear to be an isolated incident. We have seen several similar cases around Ona Ara this year, with drivers allegedly beaten to death and vehicles set ablaze before the victims can receive medical attention or any proper first response.
This has to stop.
If someone is involved in an accident, the first response should be to save lives, call the emergency services and allow the police to investigate what happened. An accident, no matter how tragic, does not give anyone the right to become judge, jury and executioner.
We cannot continue to normalise mobs killing people simply because an accident has occurred. What happens when the person being beaten is actually innocent? What happens when the accident was caused by a mechanical failure? What happens when the victim could have survived with immediate medical attention?
And most importantly, what happens when we realise that we have killed an innocent person?
Justice cannot be achieved through murder.
I am humbling calling on the Nigeria Police Force @OyoPoliceNG , traditional/community leaders and relevant stakeholders to take the recurring cases of jungle justice in Ona Ara seriously.
There should be a proper investigation into the recent incident of 25 August 2026, and where wrongdoing is established, those responsible should face the law.
We must also begin serious community sensitisation on accident response, emergency assistance and the dangers of mob violence.
SAY NO TO JUNGLE JUSTICE.
Today, it may be a stranger. Tomorrow, it could be someone we love.

Illegal oil bunkerers were arrested on our waterways. They were handed over to the NSCDC for proper prosecution.
A Senator called for their release...
The following week, another arrest, same crew, same boat.
The Navy burnt the boat, and during an exchange of fire, the bunkerers were unalived.
A petition was written against the Commander of that Naval base for unaliving" innocent civilians", and he was appointed out of that office.
When you fight corruption, be rest assured that corruption will fight back.
Just be strong!
One of the sadder scenes of the transfer deadline 😔💔
Young Real Betis winger Pablo García left the club’s facilities in tears ahead of his move to fellow Spanish side Racing Santander.
García joined Real Betis’ academy at just 6 years old and worked his way through the club’s youth ranks. You could see how much the club meant to him when he scored the winner against Valencia.
Leaving his boyhood club after 15 years clearly took an emotional toll on the 20-year-old 😓
We decided to respect the judiciary's power in that aspect and tried to meet him (Adeniyi Adeyemi) behind closed doors, which we did.
