This is much nicer than how it was when I was in Bangkok in 2012-13. All the plus size stores had the name “cow” in them. They would stand at the entrance and yell “We don’t have your size,” while walking past. Mind you, I was the smallest I had ever been as an adult, 165lbs. 🫣

All of this is facts!!! One thing I would like to add is being Neurodivergent and being raised by Neurotypical people who don’t try to understand your way of thinking.

Learning sarcasm was tough, but I also don’t think I’ll use sarcasm with my kids. 🤔

@mhp_guy When I was younger, my mom had to get someone to drive us over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge whenever my dad was traveling for work. They definitely should have been paid. One guy would hop in the vehicle and then his partner would follow us over so he had a ride back.

Wow, I had no idea this was a thing. I don’t like Tylenol. I always felt like it didn’t work, but I also thought that meant it was “weaker” in a sense.

Acetaminophen (Tylenol) overdose.

I’ve talked about this before. If the OD is severe enough, your liver is irreversibly fucked and you have 2-3 days of being awake and alert and knowing you’re going to die a horrible, ugly death. Half of acetaminophen overdoses are accidental.

@LittleNeyyy @tomirex @ThatFamilyBS No fibroids. My doctors continue to check often now. I was diagnosed with PCOS much later in life. I got my official diagnosis in 2019, and I was 26 at that time.

@tomirex @ThatFamilyBS I had a doctor’s note in high school in order for me to use the bathroom more than once a class period because that was a rule. 🙃 I could fill pads larger than this size in 30 mins.

And then repeat the process. You have to build your network. No one cares about GPA and where you went to college in the real world. It took me awhile to realize that.

As someone who fell into a similar hole, you have to start dropping the LinkedIn DMs. It sucks, but the world runs on connections. Start with people you know, ask them for 2-3 referrals of people that you can talk to. Have them draft an email on your behalf and tag you in it.

@bussyrizzler We had a subtle Star Wars /Lego wedding in the planetarium. I was always nervous telling people the theme, they would look at me like I’m crazy, but after the wedding everyone ,including our parents were very impressed lol everyone went home with a custom Lego and a lightsaber 💫
