I’m a plumbing company owner and I’m using Grok @bot to automate a ton of office manager work. Here’s what I’ve done in the last 24 hours:

True, and sort of surprising. A seasoned PM now has the expertise and AI toolset to run work as a Business Analyst, QA, tech lead, junior developer to make a deployable MVP. What used to take a team of 15 members, 9 to 12 months and a few million in spend; now takes a few people. Done in weeks and not double digit months. What a great time to be alive 🫡

New chapter. After decades running enterprise IT Programs, Marketing Campaigns, leading App Dev teams, I’m now building practical AI tools that help businesses — starting with CallLegend in a few weeks, an AI voice agent that answers calls, books appointments, and never misses a lead for home services, real estate, and SMBs.

Excited to share more useful updates here focused on AI that actually delivers real business results. No hype, just now working with SMB, Midsize, and PE portfolio solutions.

What’s one big challenge you’re facing with customer calls or AI right now?

Interesting thread, lots of passion. AI is a tool , just like any other piece of software over the last three decades. Each time these tools come out the same arguments surface. In reality, in the right hands or with someone who has practiced with the tool it can do amazing things that we're not possible before. It's a matter of getting hands on, getting the training, and understanding what it is and what it isn't. From my perspective the same work that used to take me a team of 30 people, 18 months, in a few million dollars can now be done by one or two people in 30% of the time. No hype, no technology jargon, we've done it already

ANDY JASSY ACCIDENTALLY SENT THE DEATH LIST TUESDAY NIGHT

Amazon's CEO hit "reply all" on an internal email meant for VPs only

30,000 corporate workers just learned they're already dead

The email referenced a blog post that didn't exist yet

"Strategic workforce optimization to accelerate AI capabilities"

Translation: we're murdering 30,000 Americans to buy more GPUs

The numbers are fucking obscene

Amazon's 2026 AI spending: $200 billion

Average severance per worker: $67,000

That's 2,985 entire severance packages in every billion they're burning on chips

I'm hearing from sources inside that the termination algorithm is already running

Scanning badge data, code commits, Slack activity, performance reviews

Anyone who didn't touch an LLM in the last six months gets flagged for "redundancy assessment"

The beautiful part is Jassy said these cuts aren't "financially driven"

Amazon posted record profits while telling 30,000 families they're expendable

If your company has "AI transformation" in any 2026 planning docs, you're already dead

The algorithm doesn't care about your mortgage

@Codie_Sanchez Agreed. A person can learn more in 3 months hands on, than 4 semesters of higher education and exit with a profitable business and not a debt stack

Not a single fintech CEO slept well last night.

X just shipped a full financial stack in 48 hours. And most people didn't even notice.

Here's the sequence:

- Tuesday: Smart Cashtags go live. Any ticker, any contract address native price chart, right in the timeline. No redirect. No third-party app.

- Already in beta: X Money. Fiat wallet with 6% APY, metal Visa debit card with 3% cashback, P2P payments, direct deposit. FDIC-insured through Cross River Bank, the same bank behind Coinbase and Stripe.

- Already live: Brokerage routing via Wealthsimple. One tap from a post to a placed trade.

Three products. All shipped. All pointing the same direction:

Discovery → Chart → Trade → Pay.

Inside one timeline scroll.

Here's what that looks like for you and me:

Someone posts a $AAPL cashtag. I tap it. Chart loads. I see the conversation around it. I buy. Never left the app.

I send $50 to a friend. On X. I earn 6% on what's left. My debit card gives me 3% back on coffee.

Why would I open Robinhood? Why would I open Venmo? Why would I open CoinGecko?

And here's why they can't compete:

X has 550M monthly users. Robinhood has 24M funded accounts. Venmo has ~90M accounts. CoinGecko has ~30M monthly visits.

X doesn't need the best product. It needs a good-enough product inside the app people already live in.

Now zoom out.

X was an ad revenue company. ~$4.4B in 2023, almost all advertising.

The new revenue stack:

> Visa interchange on every card swipe
> Brokerage referral fees on every routed trade
> APY spread on held deposits
> Trading behavior data from 550M users

X didn't add a feature. X changed its entire business model.

"Is this good for X?"

Wrong question.

X just stopped being a social media company.

It's now a financial infrastructure company that happens to have 550 million users already scrolling.

Everyone else is competing against a distribution gap they can never close.

I wrote about this yesterday before any of it was announced. The sequence played out exactly as mapped.

The only piece left: which chain gets the default crypto trading slot.

That answer will move markets.
