Deputies Amanda Crane and Richard Wojcik bring over five decades of combined experience to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, where they serve as dedicated members of our Court Security Unit.

Every day, they work to ensure the safety of everyone who enters the Boulder County Justice Center—from staff and legal professionals to the public and those involved in court proceedings. Their presence helps create a secure and welcoming environment where justice can be served without disruption.

In 2024, our Court Security Unit screened 159,830 visitors, confiscated or denied entry to 2,650 prohibited items, and made 249 arrests.

They are part of a highly trained team that works behind the scenes and on the front lines to maintain order and security in our courts. We are grateful for their dedication and for the entire Court Security Unit, whose professionalism and commitment help keep Boulder County’s justice system running safely and smoothly.
