@jimmydean197 Only the beginning. Lots of trucker hats and patagonias gonna be moving along to some other mountain town to ruin with thier commie ways…..
Check out the Capuchin monks crypt. Kinda creepy but beautiful in the same. Also walk the park and museos at villa Borghese. Basilica of saint mary of the angels is an overlooked beauty. Tons of early history there. If you have time don’t miss the Capitolene museum. Believe it or not, the church has put their stamp over so many Roman things that is the best place to see ancient Roman stuff- I can’t recommend it enough it is a must to visit! Give yourself plenty of time there!
@InfantryPilot The Westin Excelsior. Away from tourist hell, great walks through the entire area from there, grab a dinner at Sapori DIschia a few blocks away. Great family, food is 🤌🏼
Aloha! This is Gran Sasso about an hour outside of Rome. Go to the little town of Fonte Cerreto (Assergi) and take the tram up. In that town you MUST get the lamb skewers called Arrosticini from the food cart in the town square. And pet the sheep dogs wandering around town! As for Rome, do the sites but most importantly get away from them (and the tourists) to explore. That is the real Rome. So many things to see that aren’t known by the tourists hoards. Walk around, you will not be disappointed. For more hit me a DM. Have family there.
I respect your opinion but my exposure to the general sampling of dive clientele, no matter the certifying agency, absolutely a no go. I really respect CMAS if the dive plan training is this detailed, but the general population (CMAS or not) would not be able to grasp the real life risk without proving ability along with additional training. Maybe all were highly advanced/experienced/proven divers, which may come out in the news. Regardless, terrible accident and may they rest in peace.
@BobHowa15735913@marcorandazza DM here. I think that’s almost always the issue with incidents like this. The careful planning part. A small portion of the global dive society is capable of something this deep, along with the overhead. Definitely not a recreational dive in any way.
This is how things need to be. Don’t touch the wildlife. Don’t be a disrespectful asshole. You are a visitor to these islands. Bro is lucky the locals didn’t make him fish food.
