@GnosticWiFi@Cheeseboogler@Underdog I don’t think there’s really pods where you have no chance, but there’s certainly pods where the luck falls to one person and they end up with a stacked looking team.
I imagine this will be one of those
While Rome Odunze's foot has healed from the stress fracture he played through last season, making sure he stays on top of his rehab/straightening his feet is something that will be a constant from here on out.
Odunze: "This is my new normal. And it’s not from a standpoint that I’m always in pain but the way my foot broke there’s callouses in there that like creates a different type of foot structure with those bones—different types of things that kind of shift things around. So my new normal was kind of what I am going into. And I don’t think that’s anything that’s going to prohibit me from making plays but I feel like with the break it’s just like when you tear your AC, it’s never really back to normal."
@NoFilm_Analysis Agree Wan’Dale could be a thorn in Tate’s side for fantasy, but I think it’s important to note that these guys project to win in very different ways. Tate down field (where his analytical profile does look good in college) vs Wan’Dale short/middle.
@valuedraftpicks@NoFilm_Analysis I’m sure there’s folks treating him like it, but I don’t think general consensus is there.
He’s being drafted on UD currently as WR29/30, well behind where previous top 10 picks WRs like MHJ, Nabers and Tet were.
On KTC he’s WR11 - solid potential rookie, not guaranteed stud.
@KyleM_FF@FantasyPtsData All good context.
I’ll just add, Hurts loved deep boundary throws. His efficiency out there is meh, but volume wasn’t
I haven’t looked into Maye’s charting to see whether he has that same inclination. Could also argue he didn’t have the personnel to do so at a high rate before.
@NoFilm_Analysis I get what you’re saying, but if drafting based only on DC is better for results, people should do that. Not good for creators, but good for dynasty managers.
The further away from DC your model is, the more important it is to show evidence of that model working.
@daveyy26@Ihartitz Just saying we've seen a lot of inefficient rushing throughout Etienne's career.
Not out on him, just don't consider him one of the elite rushers in the NFL. Still projects for lots of volume, good pass catching, and attached to a play caller I'm in on.
@BallCoach_Nate A - some drafters may not have been treating it as done
B - We always double count news that was speculated on prior
I think B is the more impactful force in this case
@Datphillykyd Seems everyone realized the next tier of QBs are so undervalued compared to Allen.
But instead of pulling up those other QBs’ ADPs, Allen is just dropping.
Some great QB value available this year.
If you haven't checked out @RyanJ_Heath's article on personnel tendencies you absolutely should.
It got me thinking about specific players who could benefit from increased volume in higher-efficiency 2 or fewer WR sets.
Burden seems the obvious answer, but others could benefit
I don't want to miss the next Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
So I wrote about the personnel tendencies we see around the NFL, with direct predictions of which players will benefit from them.
Everything from 2-WR sets to fullbacks to 3 TEs covered inside! Free read!

@RyanJ_Heath The best part of that article is that it has takeaways that everyone can apply when news like this comes out throughout the offseason.
As great as the takeaways section is helpful, the general underlying research is even more impactful in my opinion
@smitchell17 There is no single player Brown is replacing. The offense will not be the same as last year because there was no WR as good as Brown on the team last year, and definitely not with his skill set.
You can be low on Brown, but assigning Brown to a player from 2025 makes no sense.
@SuperrNova38 You see no scenario where McDaniel sees Mitchell as a great complement to Hampton and gives him 30% of snaps?
It's not like Hampton looked amazing last year. Mitchell could earn some work as a speedy big play guy.
Not saying he's my favourite pick, but there is a path
