The U.S. Embassy hosted a #Freedom250 program celebrating 250 years of American innovation and excellence, featuring NASA’s Artemis II mission—the first crewed journey around the Moon in more than 50 years. Students from the Aeronautic Club of College St. Benoit watched mission highlights and explored how the United States continues to lead in space exploration and advanced technology.

Acting Deputy Chief of Mission Gaïna Dávila encouraged students to see themselves as part of the “Artemis generation,” while @TechWomen alumna and aerospace engineer Lily Asongfac shared insights on the mission and careers in aerospace.

The program inspired students’ interest in STEM and highlighted opportunities in space science and technology. To join similar programs, email [email protected]
