Members of police services across Canada join together for a 700-kilometre ride to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice. #RidetoRemember#HeroesinLife
A $2,500 donation was made to Camp F.A.C.E.S. by the Ride to Remember. Camp F.A.C.E.S. (Families and Children of Emergency Services) supports emergency personnel and their families that have been impacted by disabling stress and PTSD.
Our officers are proud to take part in the annual Ride to Remember @canadianr2r & Run to Remember @460KM that are underway. The events end in Ottawa to commemorate the National Police Memorial Sunday.
Here are some photos from our teams so far

As we enter the final day of our Ride, we recognize the people behind the scenes making this machine run. Thanks to our amazing motorcycle lead, Sgt Brian Hodgins, our lead vehicle driver, Det. Russell, Velofix and @HammerCanada. We couldn’t do this without all of you!!
The @CanadianR2R continues on their 700 km journey to Ottawa to honour our heroes, those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

It is heart breaking to learn the news out of B.C & the tragic line of duty death of an @rcmpgrcpolice officer and the shooting of another officer. We held a moment of silence to remember their sacrifice, their families, colleagues and loved ones mourning this loss #heroesinlife
It always gives the team a boost when one of the members of SOLE join us on the route! @YRP member Melissa joined us just in time to welcome the fast group into Brown’s Bay Park. #HeroesinLife

The Ride to Remember will be coming into town in approximately 1 hour! Cyclists will be entering town around 2:00pm, taking a quick rest at Canadian Tire and Fries A la Cart Eh before departing towards Brockville.
Come show your support for our rider Sgt Joel Harding 💙
The awesome community of @GananoquePolice blows us away every year with their incredible support to this Ride. Thanks to the local Canadian Tire, our favourite chip truck Fries Eh and the local trivia night for their donations. And we gave away another bike!! #greatday
It’s another beautiful day for cycling as the Ride continues into the @CPPOM. A highlight for all of us is the bicycle donations made possible through the @OPP_News Youth Foundation. PC Adam Belanger champions the program making sure every bike is perfect! @OPPCommissioner
This morning @DRPSEastDiv presented a 13 year old youth with a new bike and helmet. He had his bike stolen last year and was being bullied at school. The OPP Youth Foundation will be providing donated bikes this year to support a series of bicycle giveaways along the route.
Thank you to the @DRPS cycling team for welcoming us into their group of riders and giving us the honour of leading the #RidetoRemember from the last rest stop.
@CanadianR2R
Thanks to @Axon_Canada for their long standing support to the Ride to Remember and our mission to honour those officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. They are #HeroesInLife
This morning the DRPS cycling team joined other police services in the @CanadianR2R. The ride will end in Ottawa for the National Police Memorial.
Paying tribute to all fallen officers who lost their life in the line of duty. You will never be forgotten.
