I’ve been critical of Mario’s time management and game day decisions. I am 100% still a believer that he can lead Miami to a CFP appearance and beyond. I trust him to evolve where it matters.
imagine being mean to me over your football coach’s lack of integrity while i’m at home streaming “ Fast & The Furious The Fate of The Furious” featuring my guy @ItsMeJanmarco
If Lane Kiffin was the head coach of my football team, I’d permanently retire the words loyalty, trust, respect, commitment, honor, integrity, & every synonym in the English language
Nick Saban seems to always want rules that benefit his team! He couldn’t stop the spread no huddle up tempo offense so proposed the Defensive Substitution Rule (2014) He stated up tempo offenses make the game unsafe… The real reasoning was that Coach Saban couldn’t beat them!
After Saban complained that hurry-up offenses gave offenses an unfair advantage, the SEC and NCAA discussed allowing defenses time to substitute when offenses substituted.
I don't care how many Alabama fans call me names through screens & internet connections.
I'm always going to bring up the fact that the guy so many of you allow to be the spokesperson and moral authority of college football openly admitted to tampering in back-to-back NFL Draft cycles and nobody did a damn thing.
Nobody investigated it. Nobody punished it. Nobody cared. People laughed.
So spare me the lectures about ethics and the integrity of the sport. You guys picked one of the worst possible messengers for that argument.
While Nick Saban issues warnings about the direction of the sport and positions himself as the arbiter of what college football should be, it's worth remembering that he's spent a career saying whatever benefited him in the moment.
He's one of the greatest coaches ever. He's also one of the biggest hypocrites the game has produced.
