@Stornoway_Cove I’ve been making a prediction that at some point in the future, Barron will get into politics and eventually run for president and attempt to bring trumpism 2.0.
#BREAKING: Sen Tammy Duckworth: “If you have a different name on your birth certificate than is on your drivers license, you CANNOT vote, and so for the 69 MILLION American WOMEN who took their husband’s names, you cannot vote. That birth certificate is not valid. By the way, military IDs will not be valid for you to be able to vote, neither will your REAL ID…So you have to go in with a passport that matches your current ID, and you know how hard it is to get a passport? Number one, it’s expensive and number two, theres such a backlog in the State Department, some people are waiting 3-6 months to get a passport. And so, think about the 69 million American women who married and took their husband’s name, you can no longer vote under the #SAVEAct…and in order to have housing for young people who…don’t see home ownership as being something that they can achieve, he’s going to hold women who are married and took their husband’s name hostage.” 🤦♀️
Virginia’s government should be focused on delivering services to families efficiently and effectively. Particularly in the wake of deep federal cuts, it’s all the more clear that we need user-friendly online systems to deliver information and support to Virginians.
Modeled on the successes of leading states, we need a statewide digital services team focused on standing up new systems, fixing long-standing problems, and making government work.

Imagine being Amy Coney Barrett and being the mother of two adopted children from Haiti and having to explain to them why she voted to terminate Temporary Protected Status for roughly 330,000 Haitian Nationals living and working in the United States.
I just posted a story about a woman who was fired for bleeding onto her office chair during a heavy period.
A man then came into my comments demanding “the other side of the story”.
You want to hear from the chair, bro..?
I am proud to be a Virginia Democrat. When Democrats win, we deliver results.
More affordable healthcare. Cleaner energy. Safer communities.
It’s time to re-elect Senator Warner to keep this momentum going, and it’s time to flip VA-01, VA-02, VA-05, VA-06, and VA-09 to win back the House majority in Congress.
I have this controversial view that my taxes should go towards helping the less fortunate with food assistance rather than send it to another country actively committing genocide. Crazy, I know
What a night in NYC!
First, I want to deeply thank the people of NY14, who supported my re-election with 87% of the vote - the highest in my history of public service.
It is a tremendous honor and responsibility to be your Congresswoman, and I never take it for granted.
Four years ago today, the Dobbs decision sent reproductive rights into chaos across this country. But here in Virginia is making a different choice. While other states across the South and across the country rolled back rights, Virginia is moving forward — protecting access to contraception, to IVF, to the right to a safe and legal abortion.
@CattardSlim Same with the 2A worshipers who claim they have guns to protect against a “tyrannical government” and now are quiet about an actual tyrannical government.
