@atlanta_cards The only place I see people consistently buy cards for “over comps” is eBay.
The fees suck but it casts such a wide net.
Selling on social media and/or at shows and everyone wants or needs a deal.
@RobsRips I’m pretty bad at updating my prices on there. I’ll upload a card at X. Several months later someone offers X and I see the card is selling for much more.
It’s a crapshoot but I’ve done a lot of deals on there including my second largest cash sale.
@RobsRips Selling is great on veriswap. Basically only pay the stripe fee unless you are also sending cards in the deal (then you cover the veriswap fee and the stripe fee)
@criggins0873@CrosbyBaseball It seems like the team feels like Southisene is athletic enough to play CF so it’s possible he gets a crack at the OF at some point.
Gil *seems* more likely to stick at SS but I bet it’s fluid
@BeaneaterB The team is going to need HSK.
Mateo has had 1 one season where he was not a below average player. Even that season, 2022, he was a bad hitter. He’s had lots of opportunity, too.
Totally good with Weiss riding the hot hand but we will need HSK at some point.
@TerpCards@CardPurchaser Well then I hope they make you whole!
They need to be more clear in their terms and conditions. Because saying “with no expectation of condition” and making you press “agree” then also having separate rules about “damage” is paradoxical.
Damage is part of condition.
@TerpCards@CardPurchaser I agree this contradicts the statement you quoted about about damage. I’m not sure if that’s on their site?
The screenshot I posted above was from the app, just now
@TerpCards@CardPurchaser I’m sorry this happened to you but veriswap explicitly says they dont take any responsibility for condition on raw cards. They even give a warning when sending offers because of this -
@JayBobSons I try to specify GS or FF when I make offers on cards to avoid this.
If I send an offer say “$100 PayPal GS” and they accept, I would assume the seller is eating the fee
@klwoodjr@BeaneaterB I think his point is the Braves have a .636 win percentage again “good” teams (with a winning record).
Yes their schedule hasn’t been hard but it’s not like they’ve struggled against the winning teams they’ve played.
@JonnyS11@CardPurchaser In all seriousness, he was considered a reach when the Braves took him in the first round (most publications had him close to the 50th-ish prospect)
They signed him under slot so they could go aggressive in later rounds. He’s been so good this year and is ready to go to high A
