I was lying on my boyfriend’s bed in his oversized shirt when his best friend walked in to borrow a charger. What he did before leaving made me call my boyfriend immediately.
My boyfriend had gone out to get food, and I was waiting for him in his room. I was wearing his oversized T-shirt with underwear underneath, lying on my stomach and watching videos on my phone.
His friend knocked once, but before I could answer, he opened the door.
Friend: “Oh, you're here. Where's my guy?”
Me: “He went out. You can call him.”
He walked in to check the table for a charger. I sat up and pulled the shirt down because I suddenly felt uncomfortable with him in the room.
He found the charger, but instead of leaving, he looked at me and smiled.
Friend: “You look so comfortable in his clothes. Does he know you look this cute when he's not around?”
Me: “He's the one who gave me the shirt. What's that supposed to mean?”
He laughed and walked out.
I thought that was the end of it until my phone buzzed a few minutes later.
It was him.
Friend: “Please don't tell him I said this, but sometimes I wish I had met you before he did.”
I read the message twice, then screenshotted it and sent it to my boyfriend.
His reply came almost immediately.
Boyfriend: “Babe, don't answer him. I'm coming home, and I need to tell you something about that guy.”
