@ImBreckWorsham@MExcuseme You’re either just being obtuse or blatantly ignorant. We’ve been down this road the Iranian President doesn’t speak with authority or for the leaders of Iran … the mullahs. Try reading a small bit of history.
@ImBreckWorsham No one “allowed” Israel to have nuclear weapons … they developed them in the 60s secretly. They also never signed the NNPT. Israel was friendly with the West so military action to stop Israel wasn’t going to happen. But the US didn’t want them to have nuclear weapons.
@Modsognir2@tshugart3 The benefit one side gains vs disproportionate negative reaction includes the risk tolerance calculations. It not just gains from fighting.
Words matter. Maybe you’re too entrenched in pissing matches to see the difference.
@Modsognir2@tshugart3 That’s not how Iranian deterrence is functioning.
What’s missing is the aspect of risk tolerance.
The US risk tolerance is very low. Iranian risk tolerance is very high.
@tshugart3 ‘s definition includes risk tolerance. Not so dumb.
@EddieW76@realannapaulina Cheating? Try providing evidence. California’s economy is bigger than your state. California contributes billions more in federal taxes than they get. Your state can’t claim that.
@anastasiaz007@SimpletonSmart1@FoxNews They’re doing a great job at increasing their personal wealth but that is NOT the same as a well-managed economy. One example … tariffs … regressive taxes on the citizens, increasing inflation.
Managing hedge funds is for SHORT TERM gains opposite of what you’re thinking.
@Coinvo I’ve visited Russia. It was interesting to stand in locations that my boat most likely targeted. And the buildings all looked great! But then when one peeks down the side alley or looks at the infrastructure (e.g. electrical distribution), it’s all a facade. Ill-maintained trash
@MCCCANM@ATabarrok Also good for recruitment. Plus it keeps the civilian world connected to the military in a non-threatening way (unlike stationing troops on the street corners or patrolling cities.)
@wildthing_x69@_shitposter3000@realannapaulina The f’n retard is the one that counters a post to state that CA can’t stop sending federal taxes … when that post said NOTHING about doing so.
Reading compression is not that difficult.
@SpacecoastPix@dad_kin@RadioFreeTom As someone previously in the launch chain on an SSBN, I’d rather not rely on faith or hope or a prayer. Trust is much better. But that is lacking.
